The cookies we bake (and the ones we don't).

Some cookies are essential — they keep you signed in and your basket warm. Others are entirely optional. Here's the full list, what each one does, and how to switch them off.

What are cookies?

In short: Tiny text files your browser stores so we can remember things between visits — like what's in your basket.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let us recognise your browser, keep you signed in, and remember your preferences. Similar technologies (local storage, pixel tags, SDKs) work the same way for our purposes — and we treat them the same way in this policy.

Managing your cookies

In short: The banner on your first visit lets you opt in or out of every non-essential category. You can change your mind any time from the link below.

You can:

  • Use our preferences centre. A “Cookie preferences” link sits in the footer of every page — click it to update your choices.
  • Use your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Be aware that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break parts of the site.
  • Use Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out for marketing and analytics cookies automatically.

Do Not Track

Browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal that hasn't been standardised. We honour the more modern Global Privacy Control signal instead — if your browser sends GPC, we will not load any analytics or marketing cookies on your visit.

Changes to this policy

If we add a new cookie or change how an existing one works, we'll update this page and the in-product preferences centre. If the change requires consent, the cookie will not load until you opt in.
